One or more modular cable ports are melted. We have completed basic testing and found no issues with the remaining ports. Other than the listed damage, this PSU appears to function normally. However, given the nature of the damage, we can not rule out that there is further internal damage, so this unit is being sold as “not working/for parts” and usage for other purposes is not recommended. Use this PSU in your system at your own risk. We will not be held liable for any damage to any other components or any associated data loss.

Note: This PSU is guaranteed to include at least the minimum number of cables required for the average PC build. A standard PC with one hard drive and one graphics card requires 1 ATX, 1 CPU, 1-2 VGA and 1 SATA cable. The typical GPU uses 1-2 VGA cables. Systems requiring 2 CPU cables are very rare. Most SATA cables have 2-4 connectors, so even a single cable can support multiple drives. Molex cables are rarely used nowadays since most motherboards have multiple case fan headers.
Warning: Power supply modular cables are not cross-compatible. If you decide to add cables that were not originally included, you must use cables from the exact same make and model of PSU to guarantee compatibility, or else there is an extremely high probability that you will damage components. We will not be held responsible for damage to your PC or this unit due to use of incompatible cables.
